It was a 3-star hotel in every way. A handy kitchenette in the room was useful. In addition, free Wi-Fi was provided. It was next to Palomar Airport Koi Pond. Had some takeout meals at chipotle mexican grill, set really close to the hotel, I couldn't resist.

A wide array of extra supplies: climate control, cable channels and a writing table. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. The place is 3.3 miles away from Carlsbad downtown.
